The Never-Ending Story

June 4 of this year will witness the official launch of the Canadian Abilities Foundation’s most ambitious project to date - EnableLink! Over five thousand Canadian organizations listed; a thousand employment resources; hundreds of national and international disability links; scores of
government departments and non-governmental agencies offering regular updates; a developing list of advocacy and support groups; a twenty-four-hour-a-day opportunity to browse our virtual library or chat with colleagues - around the corner or on the other side of the world.

THANK YOU!
Thank you to the many people who visited EnableLink during our community consultation phase and offered their suggestions and support. Please don’t stop now! Your guidance is helping us make EnableLink a valuable, information-rich, comprehensive disability resource.

And thank you to all the organizations, the government offices, the grassroots groups, the corporations and the individuals who are an integral part of EnableLink because of their interest in serving people with disabilities. Their commitment spans our efforts and incorporates them in
our databases, our links, our online conferences and our articles.

And, a big thank you to the sponsors of EnableLink. With their support, all the vital information found on EnableLink is simply a mouse-click away! A special thank you goes to the Workers’ Compensation Boards of Canada. It is through their support that people new to disability, such as injured workers, are able to take advantage of a quick-link to the mainstays which Canada’s disability community has worked so hard to put in place.

WHERE TO FROM HERE?
June 4 of this year may be the official launch of EnableLink - but this resource is going to just keep on growing! With each passing day, EnableLink will expand to further meet its objective of providing "Information, Inspiration and Opportunity" to those wishing or needing to access vital, life-enhancing information.

EnableLink is a resource that encompasses information that has taken years to accumulate. But the true strength of EnableLink is the fact that its not static; the Canadian Abilities Foundation intends on keeping it current and up-to-date! If a new organization is launched in Canada, you will see it on EnableLink. Conferences and events will be included in our calendar listings. Websites and specialized resources will be continuously added. EnableLink - a key Internet resource. Come back, and use it often!
