COPOH

By Mel Graham

I’ll refrain from expressing the hope that you had a good summer. Too bad about that. You’ll just have to take what comfort you can from the knowledge that millions of others didn’t get a lake swim in this year either.

This time around, we hope to answer some questions you might not have even known you were in any doubt about: questions such as, what’s the water like in Mainstream 92? Why did they pour cold water on co-op housing in this country? Why are some of us chosing this fall to mob th UN’s delegates in New York - and most important of all, who is Francine Arsenault, anyways?

All this, plus news about a spunky consumer-advocacy programme from some folks who work with our affiliate organization in BC will be revealed in the perusal of the ensuing pages. As we’ve said before and will no doubt say again, we’d love to receive your reaction and queries concerning any facet of the materials contained in the COPOH section. Write to Mel Graham at COPOH, 926-294 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0B9 tel: (204) 947 0303 fax: (204) 942 4625.
